Pet Assistance Foundation Palos Verdes - South Bay Branch
Scroll through our available cats and click on the adopt button to submit an information questionnaire.
Just curious? Don't worry, the questionnaire is not a commitment to adopt, but it does allow us to make the best match possible between you and our furry friends!
If you are unsure, not quite ready, or just want to let us know your preferences, you can fill out a generic form here, just list "unknown" for pet name, and let us know what your are looking for in a kitty companion.
Don't be so surprised! Our adoption process helps you make the right choice for you and your furry friend.
Fill out our on-line adoption application by choosing one of the cats from the list, or go directly here: adoption application . If you are unsure, choose "unknown".
Come meet kitty at one of our adoption events at the Peninsula Center Petco.
We will let you know as soon as possible if we believe a match is appropriate, based on your application. Note this is a preliminary approval.
We will do a pre-adoption in-home visit. Check with us on the availability of video visits if you are concerned about Covid-19.
Once final approval is made, we ask you to sign an adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee of $180 using our online secure system.
We will arrange a time to deliver the cat(s) to your home.
We know that sometimes things just don't work out. During the 30-day "honeymoon period" you may return the cat for a refund of your adoption fee, subject to conditions set forth in the adoption agreement.
What your adoption fee includes:
Before they become part of your home, all our cats must be ready. We complete the following for each cat:

Fully vaccinated for rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and panleukopenia (FVRCP)
Tested for feline AIDS and leukemia (FIV/FeLV)
Microchipped.
Flea and worm treatment.
Socialization with one of our foster families or habitat volunteers.
Volunteer
We'd love to have your help! There are many ways to volunteer, below are just some examples

Driver: we sometimes need folks to drive our cats to veterinary appointment.
